LAUNCH OF STARTUP SESSION – JOINT PROJECT OF THE SGH WARSAW SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS AND TO REFORGE
Startup Session – a series of training courses for leaders in innovation and young entrepreneurs – aims to provide practical knowledge on how to build business ventures. The programme includes, among others, training workshops on financing of projects, design thinking, customer development, marketing and PR for startups, as well as e-commerce.
The project’s initiators are the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics and To Reforge, a Polish company builder.
– Our objective is to create business communities through education – explains Albert Tomaszewski, coordinator of the project on behalf of the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer. – We are keen for students to graduate from their alma maters knowing the current trends in the world of startups and being aware of ways in which they can finance and efficiently manage their own businesses.
The courses will be conducted by practitioners specialising in different fields, while the lectures will be accompanied by individual consultations, workshops and networking sessions. The first five meetings will take place as early as in the summer semester of 2017, and the participants who pass the final exam will receive a certificate confirming their participation in the project.
– This project is addressed to those individuals who want to acquire or revise the knowledge in a condensed form which will enable them to transform their ideas into successful businesses – explains Łukasz Krasnopolski, CEO of To Reforge. – We are very pleased to have the opportunity to run this project with the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, which boasts a great number of outstanding Polish entrepreneurs among its alumni.
Participation in lectures is free of charge; however, as the participant numbers are limited, it is necessary to register. Detailed information, schedule and a registration form are available at SGH.waw.pl at this address.
